Where are you right now?
In between meetings.
What did you want to be when you were a child?
Mostly I wanted to just be a child. In fact, now that I am theoretically a grown up, I still want to be a child so nothing has really changed.
How do you think we can keep talent motivated?
Keep them challenged, planners are peculiar creatures that seem to get bored when all the questions have been answered. You need to create an environment that poses some chunky questions for them to wrangle.

What is you latest ‘must have’?
The time to play with my 3-year-old son.
What is your favorite piece of technology?
Lame answer but I am going to have to say my phone, purely because of Skype and face time – both of which come in handy when you live on the opposite end of the earth to your family.
What subject do you wish you’d paid more attention to in school?
I kind of wish I had paid more attention to all of them. I did just enough to get by – didn’t push myself as hard as I should have. Maybe if I had paid more attention I could have found a more reputable career.
Where is your favorite place for a drink?
Right in front of my barbeque.
If you could have one superpower what would it be?
To be able to turn invisible - It’s a superpower you could use for good or for bad depending on the mood you were in.
What is one thing about you that most people would be surprised to know?
I have a velvet phobia.
